For a long time now I’ve been interested in making money on the internet. I followed at least a hundred different people on twitter doing all sorts of stuff. I tried a few of them and none stuck. Recently I came across the idea of buying and/or building blogs which can then be monetized in a number of ways and eventually be sold or held for revenue. I like the low barrier to entry for this concept and I feel like it’s a good match for my skills. I’m creative, good at writing, and have also been business-minded, so I figured I could get started pretty easy. Having never made a blog before, I decided to start here. Making a blog about blogs. At the minimum, this will be a great way to track my progress and get comfortable making blog posts.

So… what do I plan to do?

1. Experiment with both buying blogs and building them from scratch
2. Figure out how to drive traffic to a blog
3. Figure out how to make money with a blog
4. Experiment with both selling and holding blogs

Sometime after I’ve figured out these basics, I’ll explore automating blogs. Using different softwares, AI, and hired talent, I intend to find ways to make blogs run with little work on my part so I can collect revenue from blogs that I have built or bought.

If anyone ends of following along here… great. If not, then talking to myself for practice will still be beneficial to my journey.
